Lamoiyan Corporation donates 1 million worth of hygiene products to DepEd VisMin

Lamoiyan Corporation, a leading manufacturer of personal hygiene and home care products in the country, has donated over one million worth of Lamoiyan products to Department of Education (DepEd) in Visayas and Mindanao as it celebrates the 5th year of Kilusang Kontra Kuto (Movement Against Head Lice) initiative. In support of DepEd’s Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan amidst the pandemic, Lamoiyan Corporation distributed packs of Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo, Hapee Toothpaste, and Dazz Dishwashing Liquid to selected regions for distribution among the students. Selected regions include Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Davao. Lamoiyan also recently donated hygiene products to Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and National Capital Region. The total value of donated hygiene products nationwide amounts to over three million pesos. Globe Ambassador Alex Eala is seeded No. 2 at French Open Juniors

Filipina tennis prodigy and Globe Ambassador Alex Eala is seeded number 2 in the junior girls’ tournament of the 2020 French Open at Roland Garros in Paris, France. Eala, who is returning to the Grand Slam events after the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled the US Open and Wimbledon Juniors Tournaments this year, is currently ranked 4th in the world juniors’ rankings, the highest ever so far by any Filipino tennis player. She is also the highest ranked tennis player in Southeast Asia. She will be returning to the clay courts of Roland Garros after making her debut in the grand slam event in 2018. Customers of telehealth service KonsultaMD may now enjoy unlimited video consultation with any of the 30 telemedicine doctors who have volunteered in the DOH Healthcare Warrior Program. This service is available via KonsultaMD app until June 22. To enjoy the service, customers may download the KonsultaMD app and choose from four affordable KonsultaMD plans which only cost from P15 per week to P150 per month. In return, they can book an appointment with their preferred DOH volunteer doctor and consult for free within the comforts of their own home.
