PHILCONSTRUCT Mindanao – the much-awaited annual industry event in the region – opens with a massive showcase of more than 300 brands for its 10th year. The event is open from September 6 to September 8 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang Premier Mall from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (except on the last day where it will close at 5:00 pm). Admission is free.
For the past decade, the event has been an effective platform in connecting industry professionals, business owners and consumers which makes it the no. 1 industry showcase in the region for 10 solid years now. “This event has been the venue for industry dialogue and collaboration between the key players and policy makers every year. The show opened with the Chief-of-Staff of the Office of the Secretary and Supervising Undersecretary of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines and other attached agencies of the Department of Trade and Industry – Usec. Rowel Barba together with TESDA Region XI Regional Director Lorenzo G. Macapili representing Sec. Isidro Lapeña.
Usec. Barba and Regional Director Macapili was joined by some of the biggest names in the industry including the Chairman of the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission, Justice Teresita Baldos; owners of the biggest brands in construction; board of directors of the Philippine Constructors Association, Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors, Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers, Cebu Contractors Association, Davao Constructors Association Center, among others.
