A Mom’s Day Out With Sun Life

Mothers, titas (aunties) and moms-to-be had a fantastic Saturday last week here in Davao City, thanks to Sun Life Financial Philippines. It was a day of self-care, pampering, and laughter at Park Inn by Radisson Davao which was attended by about a hundred participants. Who would say no to a relaxing back massage? I just loved it. And that’s not it, there were also lots of raffles and giveaways that made the event more fun and exciting. To top it all off, we were all able listen to inspiring talks on Balanced Motherhood and Money Management. Had so much learning and realization from them . Thank you Ms. Michelle Alignay for being a witty speaker. No dull moment as she shared her own experiences as a wife and mom which were so interestingly relatable. Seven brand new summer destinations in Cebu, Davao, Boracay, Palawan, and Clark AirAsia is flying to seven brand new destinations across the Philippines this summer. The world’s best low cost carrier for eight consecutive years will begin to fly from Cebu to Davao, Palawan, and Boracay/Caticlan and from Davao to Clark, Cebu, Palawan, and Boracay/Caticlan in April 22. Beauty pageant patrons and Chucks collectors will get a chance to own customized Converse sneakers by the participating 19 candidates from the recent 2016 Miss Universe competition. These will be auctioned for the benefit of Positive Action Foundation which is devoted into helping individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Payoneer Goes to Davao

Payoneer, an innovative cross-border payments company transforming the way businesses send and receive funds globally hosted its first Payoneer Forum in Davao last Feruary 5 at Park Inn by Radisson Davao. The Payoneer Forum gathered over 100 freelancers, entrepreneurs, and other professionals. They learned so much from experts on topics such as how to expand their online business, freelancing and using various digital marketing tools to accelerate the growth of their business. Earlier that day, there was a media briefing attended by bloggers; and representatives from the print and broadcast media, where basic information about Payoneer were discussed. It primarily targets those working online and those having businesses whose transactions are done through the internet. Payoneer emphasized the several advantages of switching from the current payment facility that they are using (e.g Paypal) to their platform.
