Gcash, country’s popular money app has just launched it’s newest program “Gcash for Good” in Davao City. It enables Filipinos to share their blessings to non-government organizations (NGOs) that promotes education, care for the environment and animal welfare.
Gcash for Good is a first of its kind technology in the Philippines that’s geared towards corporate social responsibility with the use of Gcash App.
HOW TO DONATE to Gcash for Good
With Gcash for Good, it makes it easier for Gcash users to support their chosen advocacies and can now donate with the use of the app’s QR code. Each NGO partner have their unique QR code which you can scan with your device. You are now able to share even as little as Php1! The money you donate will sure go a long way in empowering the community you support which can in turn address issues across different levels of society today.

Gcash VP for Corporate Communications Reyner Villasenor enjoined NGOs in Davao and the whole of Mindanao to be part in spreading the power of good with Gcash for Good during the press launch at Park Inn By Radisson Davao.
“People who want to do good are now empowered with a more efficient experience. Any amount will create huge opportunities for organizations that forward different issues. With Gcash for Good, users will have direct access to where their donations go, “ Villasenor said.
As of now, there are 35 partner NGOs who have completed documentation requirements. Quality screening of partners is done to ensure that organizations are legitimate and the money donated is not abused.
