If you are a person on the go who relies so much with communication technology to undertake daily activities, there’s no better news than having these things updated to keep up with the rest of the world. Whether we like it or not, internet and telecommunication have also become like common staples we couldn’t live without. You wouldn’t be surprised that even at the most casual gathering of friends and formal business meetings, there’s only one thing that people would ask first— WIFI PASSWORD!!!

So when Globe Telecom invited us bloggers for a round table discussion to share their latest updates on network modernization all over the country especially in key areas in Mindanao last November 22 at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, I wasn’t surprised but somehow felt excited because after all this is the ideal direction we would want for our local telecommunication industry to have.
We now say goodbye to 2g /3g and say hello to Evolved High Speed Packet Access or 4G HSPA.
Davaoenos will be happy to know that they will be the first ones to enjoy the benefits of fiber optic cables to replace the traditional ones for improved and protected voice, data and SMS [Short message (or messaging) service] traffic quality. In line with this, new and modern cell towers are also being built.
Simply stated, Davao City and nearby provinces now have world class mobile systems in terms of call quality, real time text message exchanges and a faster internet browsing capabilities.
So, aren’t these news good enough yet?
We can only hope that these recent development in telecommunication will be further used to maximize economic growth for the city. But with all the good things coming in for us, there is no reason for us to stop improving our lifestyles for the better. ~~louiseinthehouse

That’s definitely good news especially for a big time Globe user like me. I love Globe’s services a lot better than Smart. They quickly responds to consumers’ queries and complaints without so much fuss.
