As far as I can remember, when I was active with the school paper and yearbook club back in high school in the late 80s and 90s, Midtown Printing Press was already there. Today, after 45 years in the printing business, it has gotten stronger and bolder to face the challenges of the times.
With the onset of e-books (short for electronic book, also known as a digital book, ebook, and eBook)
and publications on the internet you would think this industry has died. Not with Midtown. Being in the forefront of printing premium quality yearbooks for countless schools and universities not just in the Davao region but all through out the country, it has set a standard on how printing should be done.
The management of Midtown never stopped pursuing for excellence, they have an admirable thrust of always perfecting their craft in the light of technological advancement. Proof of this is their multi-million investment to trainings and education here and abroad plus acquisition of state of the art facilities and equipment.

To give clients more options, the have recently introduced Web to Print, one of the firsts in the country which allows customers to place their printing orders online. It allows us to customize our orders from business cards, fliers, posters to brochures, etc. based the given templates, design and colors/tones. It will also allow clients to upload their own design and add further printing instructions via Midtown’s website .
Once payment has been made either by credit card (Visa and Mastercard), Paypal, Globe GCash, Smart Money or thru bank transfer, orders will be processed and shipped to the customer’s doorstep. Lead time usually takes 2-3 days or more, depending on the bulk of the job order. How hassle free, isn’t it? It is surely pleasant news for businessmen and people on the go who are into online purchasing or ordering, which of course, is fast becoming a trend these days.

it’s great to know that more businesses such as printing also have e-business option these days, it just makes things a lot easier.
There are services that will never go out of style, they just reinvent themselves to be more useful to the public. Clearly, this has been done successfully by Midtown.
It is good to know that they now accept online orders it somehow makes the transactions easier.
I do agree with Betchai, that would eliminate too much traveling hence the cost would be less.
This printing company really stood the test of time. I guess, it is run by efficient personnel.
It’s good to know that printing business continues to thrive despite the internet’s innovation and other technological invasion.
time tested, and that’s nice that they are doing great and able to catch-up with the fast growing trends lately. their new deal sounds so good. goodluck.

they must have done something right that make their business successful.
..just the other day for some reason I remembered my old school publication days too when all we used was a typewriter and a Manila paper for lay-outing…and I was wondering whatever happened to the printing press we used to go to…maybe they too have embraced modern technology like the printing press you shared here…wow, everything is online now and the great thing is transactions are faster…Midtown Printing Press sounds like one that will be in business for many years to come…an inspiring entrepreneur tale, thanks for sharing 🙂
