Zumba has become one very popular form of dancercise (coined term for dance and exercise) in the recent years. If you have a love and hate relationship with doing exercise regularly, zumba might just change this. Zumba is a fusion of aerobics and dance routines. Although it is commonly identified with latin dance steps such as samba, salsa, mambo and merengue, Zumba also has hiphop and martial arts movements in it making it really interesting.
It is far from being boring and it makes you sweat, you wouldn’t even notice that an hour has passed. (one hour zumba group sessions is offered in most local gyms). I’ve been doing Zumba at least twice a week in the last two years and I can truly say, it gives me a different high. I always look forward to attending Zumba sessions because I’ve gained new friends who never fail to motivate me to keep fit and healthy.
Recently, me and my blogger friends were invited to join the first ever Zumba Party sponsored by our favorite skin care company, My Skin Origins. It was also co-sponsored by Greene Dare, a company known for producing/selling healthy, cold-pressed bottled juices that are perfect for detoxifying.
We certainly had a blast during the event which was led by the energetic and pretty Zumba-certified instructors, Ms Donna Congson and Ms Babes Ferolin.
What more, prizes and freebies were given to the participants, making it even more unforgettable, thanks to the very accommodating My Skin Origins owners Jen and Alan Echano.
Zumba addicts, stay tuned as My Skin Origins will sponsor part 2 of this event real soon !!!!

I ‘ve heard a lot of good reviews about this Zumba thing. some friends say na very enjoyable daw ang mga dance routine specially yung Samba moves. Good thing some private individuals support and sponsors event just like the one you attended.
You look like you had a wonderful time with your blogger friends. What a nice way to “work” and enjoy at the same time.
You were all so lucky to have been invited to this exciting event. I love zumba, but I only get to do it in front of my computer. Lol!
I’ve noticed lately that zumba is getting everyone’s favorite exercise, aside from the fact that they are having time it’s also a great way for cardio exercise.
Happy for you that you were able to engage in a health boosting activity! I wish I had the time to do things like that too!
wow, I want to join….how awesome! I’ve never tried zumba before.
