Must-see Waterworks Show
I have never experienced to see a flash mob live in front of me until this interesting event sponsored by SM Lanang Premierlast November 3. I went there, together with there other bloggers and we were only told to cover a special surprise event. Totally clueless about a flash mob coming along, we just waited by the fountain court stair steps with the thick crowd usually present on a regular weekend day.
Little did we know that around 200 girls and boys from various dance groups in Davao were scattered around the area preparing for their little surprise. To everyone’s amazement, the familiar tune of the most played song in YouTube history ever, Oppa Gangnam Style sung by Psy started to envelop the crowd. In a minute, a mob of dancers were lined up in formation right before the delighted audience. Children of all ages, including us, watched with glee, and the rest obviously in high spirits went dancing and singing with the music.
This is just one of SM Lanang Premier’s fabulous treats to its loyal customers. Dubbed as the biggest mall in Mindanao, and being the newest baby of SM’s chain of highrise malls, SM Lanang Premier boasts of its Fountain Court Waterworks show. It is the country’s longest dancing fountain, giving Davaoenos something to smile and rave about.
So if you want to witness this latest city attraction, head over to SM Lanang Premier for the Waterworks show happening every two hours on weekdays (Mondays to Friday) and every hour on weekends (Sat-Sun) beginning at 11 in the morning. Davao is becoming very metropolitan and famous these days! The SM Lanang has similarities with Dubai Mall’s Dancing Water Fountain as one of it’s main attractions. It’s just too lively to see people enjoying the whole fountain show and having fun activities and flash mobs.
I haven’t watched a flash mob in person but I would love to take part in it 🙂

You must be really surprised about it. The SM there is very pretty and looks spacious. The fountain will certainly make SM Lanang distinct from other SM Malls.

This surprise treat by SM Lanang gave sooo much buzz around the city. For one, somebody contacted me if I know of a dance group which can perform a mini flash mob for her mom’s birthday, ala-SMLP.
